Main project features: operationalise the insurance value of ecosystems for water related risk mitigation by developing and testing – with key insurers and municipalities models) necessary for its mainstreaming. Focus was particularly on mixed grey/green solutions for river systems associated with landscapes build resilience to climatic extreme events.

Positions held: Deputy Project Leader and Collaborative Modelling Researcher

Activities:

– Supported the formalization of the contractual arrangements, prepared the project budget, lead the reporting tasks, identification of the risks and preparation of risk management plan (in relation to COVID-19 pandemic);

– Technical advisor on application of participatory and collaborative modelling techniques to ensure the combination of local knowledge with technical and analytic data, and a capacity building process;
